THE BIG DREAM SERIES
Why have you stopped dreaming? When we stop dreaming we die. It may not be physically but it may be in our relationships, careers, physical abilities… we must keep dreaming. The Bible says:
In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
God gives us our visions and dreams and the ability to realize them as we follow His leading in our lives. He helps us see what we otherwise would not be able to see. God helps us to see opportunity, potential, need, wisdom, direction and balance.
Over the next three weekends at the Grace Place we are going to talk about Dreaming God’s way! Week one is crucial and I want to encourage you to be there and bring some friends. We begin with a Biblical Talk on “Daring to Dream” looking at the life of Joseph and the dream God gave him. In this message we will look at the five step process for implementing the dream God has given you.
So many people give up too early on their dream. Others allow themselves to be discouraged by people around them and they give up on their dream. If God placed a dream in your heart, I believe He wants to see it fulfilled. We need help with our dreams as well. No one can do it alone. I believe God brings us together in community to help unite us in fulfilling dreams and the master vision He has for our community.
Bring a pen and notepad. Invite some friends to join you. We all have a God given dream. Let’s learn together how we can prepare them and see them come to life.
