Children are the Target of Target
No mistake about it, the LGBTQ displays at Target stores over the month of June were targeted at children. In an attempt to normalize unbiblical relationships and gender confusion. Target planned, invested, and ultimately displayed the LGBTQ section in the front of their stores across America. Target worked with U.K. based brand Abprallen to create its pride month displays. The brand has displayed merchandise with messages such as ‘Satan respects pronouns’, and the designer Erik Carnell, has espoused Satanic Beliefs.
After a huge out cry arose from Target customers, Target CEO Brian Cornell, rather than taking responsibility for this egregious decision, took to blaming the Target customers and said they threatened the safety of Target employees. I have a cure for that…Stop shopping Target. That is exactly what we have done. I recognize that a number of corporations have bowed their knees to the “woke” agenda, but in this instance Target stepped up the game and targeted our children and grand children.
One thing about getting old is you have a long past and a lot of memories. The retail grave yard is littered with former giants like Target: I can remember Kmart, Sears, Montgomery Wards, Woolworth, Yellow Front, Circuit City, Blockbuster, CompUSA, Dressbarn, KBToys, Mervyn’s… Just to mention a few. They came they saw they conquered they died. Each time a retail giant disappeared a new one would arise. Customers, not corporate CEOs determine which retail companies have a long future. As customers we have choices. it may be a bit more inconvenient but making a choice to support our children is more important than convenience.
Should we boycott ‘woke’ companies that insist on pursuing an agenda that flys in the face of our core values as Christians? Perhaps, but more than that we need to pray against this attack which did not originate in the corporate headquarters but rather is the inspired work of the demonic forces that are out to…
“kill steal and destroy” (Jn.10:10)
We often overestimate what we can accomplish and underestimate what God can accomplish. What if Erik Carnell were to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior? Prayer changes things. Jesus changes people. Lets invite God into our actions, behaviors and responses. Let’s take a stand for Jesus and take a knee in prayer for our world.
